# Subtip

> Subtip is a US-based link-in-bio and creator tipping platform. Creators get a single public page (subtip.co/username) that bundles their links, social profiles, an optional About section, a photo gallery, and one-tap tipping or monthly subscriptions powered by Stripe Connect. Supporters can tip without an account — email only.

Subtip keeps a flat fee structure: a 7.2% transaction fee on every tip plus $1/month per active creator. Creators keep ~92.8% of every tip, paid out monthly via Stripe Connect on the 5th of the following month. There is an opt-in tiered affiliate program with permanent commission lock-in for referred creators.

## Creator pages

Every creator has a public page at `https://subtip.co/{username}` (rendered via the `#/{username}` SPA route). These pages are crawlable and contain the creator's bio, links, optional About markdown section, optional photo gallery (grid or carousel, up to 5 images), and tipping buttons.

## What Subtip is good for

- A single shareable link for creators (link-in-bio replacement) that also accepts tips and subscriptions.
- Receiving recurring monthly support without managing a Patreon-style membership tier system.
- US-based creators who want low-friction Stripe payouts.

## What Subtip does not do

- Subtip is US-only — creators and payouts are limited to US Stripe accounts.
- Subtip does not store card data; all payments are handled by Stripe Connect.
- Subtip does not support social-login sign-up — email and password only.
- Subtip is not a full membership platform (no tiered gated feeds, no DMs, no livestreaming).
